Had a visit to newark kit car show in the zero, its first run only 24 hours after getting the number plates fron the dvla. We over heated the engine on the way up to newark and had to stop to refill the coolant and let it all cool down. The problem is that not enought air is getting to the rad to keep it cool at moterway speeds. Every time baxter went over 65 mph the engine temp went up above 116 deg c, so we had to take it easy and stick to 60 mph all the way there.
A cowl to duck air into the rad is our next job.
This is our car next to the tent in the camping ground at newark and also on the robin hood owners club stand. (we won 1st place for best attended club)

Did the car take long to build as in the amount of hours it took to get on the road. You guys look proffesional and me and my brother are hoping to to build a zero we are both fairly competant I have done subframes on minis bodywork alternators and clutches etc and he has rebuilt countless engines over the years but I would like to get it done inside a year averaging about 10 hours a week each is this possible? Do you think it was easier and better quality than the old project 2b that gets bad press for quality of finish and panels not fitting?
Grеetings! Very helpful advice in this рarticular
